The FURBALL Invades Canada!!

Wednesday, January 25th, 2006

Canada was finally invaded by the American known as ‘Furball’. And he finally saw some REAL railroading! It was great to have him up here, and I think the next trip will be us heading down to Ohio to railfan the ‘modern’ Rio Grande!

Some night shots of the local Woodstock CP power, Matt enjoyed these units, some real CP GP9u’s!

BNSF Dundas Sub?

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Went to the CN BNSF Dundas Sub today, and surprisingly, I caught some BNSF CN units as foriegn power!

Great day for trains, horrible day for weather. Started off with slippery roads, and high winds. The winchill was insane. And when the sun did poke out behind the clouds, no trains were in sight.
